Role Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant is tasked with upholding exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic standards throughout assigned premises. This hands-on position demands meticulous attention, discipline, and consistent effort to preserve a superior and well-maintained living environment consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties for designated zones such as lobby, reception, corridors, communal spaces, amenities including gym, pool, lounges, and assigned residential units where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness continuously throughout working hours rather than a single time during a shift.
• Adhere rigorously to company-specific cleaning protocols and quality benchmarks to ensure absence of visible dirt, dust, stains, or offensive smells.
• Focus on detailed cleaning including glass surfaces, corners, edges, and frequently touched areas like handles, switches, and railings.
• Identify and report any damage, defects, or maintenance concerns observed during duties.
• Exhibit punctuality and adhere to the scheduled working hours; perform duties reliably without constant supervision.
• Comply with directions provided by the Housekeeping Supervisor while maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Properly handle and utilize cleaning agents and equipment to prevent wastage; ensure tools remain in good working order and are stored securely after use.
• Observe all health and safety standards, including careful chemical use and maintaining a safe working atmosphere.

Requirements

• Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles, preferably within hotel, residential, or commercial environments.
• Understand basic cleaning techniques and appropriate materials.
• Physically capable of undertaking manual cleaning tasks.
• Able to follow instructions carefully and exhibit disciplined work habits.
• Basic proficiency in English communication is beneficial.
