About Virtue Integrated Elder Care and the Role
Virtue Integrated Elder Care manages several high-quality nursing homes throughout Ireland, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of residents. At Bridhaven Nursing Home in Spa Glen Mallow, County Cork, we are seeking compassionate Housekeeping Assistants committed to preserving a supportive, respectful, and caring environment. Our mission emphasizes upholding residents' dignity, independence, and individuality within a community-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage residents in warm, friendly conversations while cleaning their rooms.
- Conduct thorough cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ensure each room is properly cared for and inspected to meet required standards.
- Protect and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any damage or issues promptly.
- Address resident complaints or requests professionally and patiently.
- Monitor and replenish consumable supplies as needed.
- Strictly comply with health and safety regulations and company protocols.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland without restrictions (EU/EEA citizenship required).
- Willingness and flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
