Job Purpose
The Head of Facility Management will oversee comprehensive facility operations for multiple projects within the region. Responsibilities include managing apartment snagging processes, post-construction operations, maintenance of common areas, water supply, security, housekeeping, budget planning, ensuring statutory compliance, resolving consumer complaints, and leading the facility management teams to guarantee consistent and high-quality services across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of facility operations regionally across multiple projects.
- Develop and enforce uniform standard operating procedures for consistent service delivery at all locations.
- Lead snagging and handover processes for apartments, ensuring adherence to installation and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to promptly address defects and facilitate timely handovers.
- Supervise upkeep and maintenance of common areas, focusing on cleanliness, safety, and operational functionality.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance for critical infrastructure components like HVAC, plumbing, elevators, and fire safety systems.
- Lead and mentor regional facility management personnel, fostering performance and accountability.
- Provide training to site teams for improved operational effectiveness.
- Serve as a key communication bridge between central leadership and on-site teams to align goals and strategies.
- Efficiently address consumer grievances and implement feedback mechanisms to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor budgets related to facility management, ensuring cost controls without compromising quality.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant statutory regulations, safety standards, and conduct regular audits to prevent compliance issues.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including business heads, finance, security, safety, construction, and projects teams.
- Liaise with external entities such as government authorities, police, and tenants/customers.
Educational Qualifications
- Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; Facility Management; or any technical field coupled with substantial facility management experience.
- Preferred postgraduate degrees (MBA/PGDM) in Operations Management, Facility/Infrastructure Management, or General Management.
Experience Requirements
Applicants should possess between 10 and 15 years of experience in facility management roles.
