Job Overview
A dedicated full-time childminder is required from August 17th for a family based in Walkinstown, Dublin 12. The position demands 35 to 40 hours weekly, predominantly between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, with occasional need for flexibility regarding afternoon starts and later finishes.
Primary Duties
- Supervise and care for a 2.5-year-old toddler, who will begin attending Montessori school from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM starting September.
- Provide support and care for a newborn, as the mother is currently on maternity leave.
- Engage children in outings to playgrounds and daily children's meal preparation.
- Perform light laundry duties related to childcare.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in caring for newborns and toddlers is essential.
- Possession of valid First Aid certification, Garda vetting clearance, and strong personal references are mandatory.
- Having personal transportation and a clean driving licence is advantageous but not compulsory.
