Key Responsibilities

  • Create bid proposals including detailed costings and comprehensive proposal documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans.
  • Engage across all market sectors to expand sales and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Promote the company's services and offerings effectively.
  • Proactively ensure that performance targets are achieved.
  • Provide technical sales support and assist new and existing customers with inquiries.
  • Handle technical sales questions and prepare pricing quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills and manage telephone communications professionally.
  • Keep precise and current documentation with high attention to detail.
  • Generate monthly sales reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Foster positive relationships with management, staff, clients, and suppliers.
  • Share knowledge and skills with colleagues and coordinate with senior management on business developments.
  • Stay current with industry trends and apply insights to support business strategy.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, assisting with related duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong capabilities in data analytics and Power BI modeling.
  • Proven expertise in managing technical sales inquiries, formulating pricing strategies, and developing customized quotations across diverse market segments.
  • Experience overseeing the full bid preparation process, including cost estimation, proposal creation, and on-time submission aligned with client requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the engineering, construction, and renewable energy sectors, including emerging market trends.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVSyst software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite for preparing professional proposals and managing pricing data.
  • Exceptional skills in documentation, reporting, and maintaining precise sales records.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a dedication to client service and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines independently or collaboratively.
