Role Overview
This position seeks an Animal Attendant to join the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP), assisting in the care, rehabilitation, and promotion of greyhounds. The role involves supporting the team through daily tasks such as walking and exercising the greyhounds, monitoring animal health, managing accurate records, aiding adoption and fostering efforts, and representing greyhounds at community events to find permanent homes.
Candidate Profile
- Familiarity with greyhounds and some knowledge of the racing industry are advantageous.
- Experience working in a kennel or similar environment is expected.
- Skills in social media management to help promote greyhounds are desired.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution is essential.
- Competence with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office and Windows, is required.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes efficiently is important.
