AI Data Scientist

Position Overview

XCIS AI is seeking an inquisitive and forward-thinking AI Data Scientist to create advanced machine learning models and AI-based solutions. The role involves converting data into actionable predictions and collaborating with engineering teams to implement scalable AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning and artificial intelligence models.
• Conduct detailed data analysis and engineer relevant features.
• Create predictive and classification algorithms.
• Train, assess, and optimize models for performance.
• Deploy AI models in production environments.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed models within applications.
• Effectively communicate technical findings to various stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of emerging advancements in AI technologies.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in Python programming, including use of libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid foundation in statistics and machine learning concepts.
• Ability to handle and process large datasets efficiently.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision techniques.
• Experience with MLOps practices and deploying AI models.
• Familiarity with Databricks platform.
• Advanced degree such as a Master's or PhD in AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.
