Role Overview

This position is a unique Data Engineer role focused on solving practical commercial challenges within the pharmaceutical sector by designing and implementing modern data platforms and reporting systems. Your work will directly support data transformation initiatives and enhance data usage across organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise data platforms and data warehouses.
• Create robust ETL/ELT pipelines integrating diverse data sources.
• Build and optimise Power BI semantic models and reporting tools.
• Automate reporting workflows and business processes to increase efficiency.
• Integrate APIs and third-party data services within cloud environments.
• Enhance data models for performance, scalability, and user accessibility.
• Support analytics solution delivery tailored for pharmaceutical commercial teams.
• Experiment with emerging technologies to improve organisational data practices.

Technical Experience

• Proficiency or familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, especially using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Azure SQL, data modeling, and cloud platforms.

While you may not have expertise in all technologies listed, a rapid learner and problem solver will thrive.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is between 40000 and 60000 GBP annually, dependent on experience.
