Special Agent with Cybersecurity and Technology Focus

Position Overview

This role invites cybersecurity professionals to transition into a Special Agent position at the FBI, leveraging and expanding their technical expertise to confront national security challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigations involving federal law violations related to cybersecurity and public safety.
• Exercise critical judgment and adaptability to meet dynamic investigative needs effectively.
• Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with various law enforcement entities including federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international agencies.
• Maintain physical fitness consistent with law enforcement operational readiness.

Qualifications and Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Capability to secure Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to undertake travel as necessary.
• Fulfillment of FBI employment eligibility standards.
• A bachelor's degree or above from a U.S.-accredited institution, preferably in disciplines such as computer science, engineering, data science, IT, or related fields.
• All educational qualifications must be validated through submission of official transcripts.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $93,749 to $133,200, with salary varying based on base pay, location adjustments, and availability pay.
