Senior Director - Design

Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the way in establishing premier entertainment and leisure destinations in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a visionary and strategic Senior Director - Design to guide and oversee the design ethos and execution across all projects, ensuring pioneering results that align with the company’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and enforce design strategies that resonate with Qiddiya's mission and vision.
• Lead, motivate, and unify a multidisciplinary team of architects and designers to foster innovation and synergy.
• Manage the design life cycle from concept inception through to project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure design solutions are innovative, feasible, and community-focused.
• Critically evaluate and sanction design submissions to guarantee high-quality compliance with regulations.
• Remain updated on international design trends and integrate best practices into project initiatives.
• Oversee project schedules and financial plans, ensuring targets and budgets are adhered to.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders by presenting design proposals and incorporating their inputs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline; Master’s degree highly preferred.
• At least 15 years of design leadership experience, ideally in real estate or entertainment sectors.
• Proficient with design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Robust leadership capabilities to inspire and manage creative teams.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex design concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven success delivering substantial design projects efficiently and on budget.
• Familiarity with sustainable design concepts is an advantage.
• Strong critical thinking, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
