Role overview
An established Australian financial services business is looking for an experienced data analyst to join its expanding investment and data analytics capability in Melbourne. The position will contribute to better data quality, investment reporting, platform improvement, and wider analytical work across the organisation.
Engagement details

- Daily rate: $850 to $900
What you'll be doing
- Review and verify large data sets to support investment analysis, reporting, and day-to-day business decisions.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen data governance, improve data quality, and lift reporting performance.
- Help enhance enterprise data platforms and associated integration workflows.
- Build, refine, and support SQL queries, analytical models, and reporting outputs.
- Contribute to data initiatives delivered within cloud-based data environments.
- Create insights and dashboards using BI and analytics tools to meet stakeholder needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to uncover ways to improve processes and operating efficiency.
