Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify payroll data strictly in line with Lidl's internal policies and current national legislation.
• Ensure accurate salary calculations including overtime, deductions, bonuses, and sick leaves using the SAP system.
• Serve as the main contact for queries from colleagues, external partners, and tax authorities.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports regularly and on demand for management.
• Contribute actively to process improvements, constantly seeking ways to enhance department efficiency.
• Monitor workflows proactively to identify, analyze, and minimize potential payroll errors.

Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar payroll position.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian payroll legislation and best practices.
• Fluent English communication skills at an advanced level; German language skills are considered a significant advantage.
• Proficient use of Google Workspace, especially strong skills with Google Sheets (formulas, data analysis, and consolidation).
• Demonstrates operational excellence; highly organized, analytical, with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with payroll software; familiarity with SAP is a major plus.
