Role Overview
We are offering a contract position as an Interim HR Administrator for a duration of 3 to 6 months. This remote role pays between £20 and £25 per hour. It is a prime opportunity for an organized HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys managing the full scope of the employee lifecycle, supporting performance management, HR systems, and people operations.
Key Duties
- Serve as the initial contact point for HR inquiries, employee benefits, and staff questions.
- Handle all HR administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle including onboarding, status changes, leave administration, and offboarding.
- Keep accurate and updated employee records, contracts, and related HR documentation within HR systems.
- Ensure employee database and personnel files remain current and compliant.
- Update and maintain HR policies, documentation templates, and compliance materials.
- Administer performance management platforms ensuring goals, review periods, and reporting are correctly maintained.
- Assist managers and staff with goal-setting, performance evaluations, and ongoing performance activities.
- Track goal completion rates, review deadlines, and employee engagement in performance processes.
- Generate comprehensive HR and people analytics reports covering headcount, turnover, engagement, and broader workforce metrics.
- Organize interview schedules, manage candidate communications, and oversee recruitment documentation.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment records.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience in HR administration or related people operations.
- Experience in fast-paced, scale-up, or high-growth remote settings.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Leapsome, or equivalents.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ready to commence work immediately.
