About Alchemist
Alchemist is a growing multi-outlet F&B brand with locations across Singapore, Japan, and Taiwan, focusing on delivering exceptional coffee experiences through its dedicated team. We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Executive who values a people-first approach to oversee seamless people operations from onboarding to ongoing employee engagement and development.
Responsibilities
- Manage complete monthly payroll processing via Talenox, ensuring accurate CPF contributions and IR21 tax clearance submissions.
- Administer leave management and the processing of final salaries.
- Collaborate closely with Operations to verify attendance and timesheets through Deputy, ensuring timely payroll uploads.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for outlet and operations positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and managing job offers.
- Prepare and update recruitment collateral such as job descriptions and employment contracts.
- Conduct employee orientation and onboarding to ensure new hires are well-integrated and informed from the outset.
- Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in strict adherence to MOM regulations.
- Maintain digital employee records accurately within Talenox and other HR systems.
- Draft various HR correspondences including employment, promotion, salary adjustment, and employment verification letters.
- Provide support in employee relations including counselling, grievance resolution, issuing warnings, and managing offboarding procedures.
- Act as a trusted and accessible point of contact for any HR-related queries from employees and management.
- Process attendance reports, pro-family leave submissions, and claims for government-paid leave efficiently and punctually.
- Ensure proper archiving of employee documentation according to internal HR policies and PDPA guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum of two years practical experience managing payroll and recruitment in F&B, retail, or recruitment agencies.
- Proficient use of HR Management Systems and payroll tools; familiarity with Talenox and Deputy is highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, able to confidently liaise with various organizational levels.
- Self-directed and efficient when working in a small, lean team setting.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking team members and candidates.
