About the Role
Join Anthonys Runway 84, a well-established Italian-American supper club in Fort Lauderdale, undergoing a major renovation and revitalization. We are hiring Food Runners who will help us create a memorable dining experience for both new guests and loyal regulars. This role offers up to $1,000 weekly earnings, combining an hourly wage with tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and garnishes.
- Ensure guests have all necessary dining implements such as silverware, napkins, and share plates when delivering food.
- Promptly address guest requests related to their meals at the time of delivery.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen station to support smooth operations.
- Verify all dishes meet restaurant quality standards before serving.
- Support servers, bartenders, and management by assisting with carrying plates.
- Communicate efficiently and politely with guests and team members alike.
- Relay food orders to chefs with attention to priority and specific dietary needs like allergies.
- Handle stressful situations with composure and effectiveness.
- Foster teamwork by supporting colleagues wherever needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding service, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a gracious demeanor.
- Passion for fine food, contemporary beverages, and stylish presentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Motivation for continuous learning and excellence in food service.
- Preference for a clean, organized, and respectful work environment.
