About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. Your duties will include thorough cleaning during move-in/move-out scenarios, rental turnovers, and preparing properties for listing readiness. Our client is a comprehensive leasing partner utilizing proprietary technology to expedite rental processes, minimize vacancy periods, and screen applicants effectively across multiple listing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit residential rental properties to conduct cleaning appointments including move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparation cleaning
- Perform standard residential cleaning following company quality standards
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, cabinets, and fixtures comprehensively
- Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as necessary
- Wipe down surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently contacted areas
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, and maintain floor cleanliness
- Clean the interiors of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as required
- Detect areas needing extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up before listing or tenant move-in
- Document cleaning by capturing clear before-and-after photos and videos of the property
- Provide detailed updates, notes, and communication after each assignment
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal teams
- Adhere to company directives, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaner
- Comprehensive understanding of residential cleaning standards
- Access to reliable transportation for traveling to appointments
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for every appointment
- Comfortable working independently at various residential rental properties
- Access to a smartphone with a high-quality camera (e.g., iPhone 13 or equivalent) to document work
- Ability to produce clear photos, videos, and written updates for reporting purposes
- Strong work ethic characterized by professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed checklists and instructions carefully
- Professional and respectful communication skills when interacting with all stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Specialized experience with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning
- Experience preparing rental properties for showings, photos, inspections, and tenant move-in
- Skills in identifying property concerns such as damage, maintenance needs, junk accumulation, pests, access problems, or safety hazards
- Prior work independently in field operations with property management, leasing, cleaning, or home service firms
