Warehouse Operator at Satair

About the Role

This position is based with Satair and involves picking and packing goods according to priority and maintaining parts location in the warehouse following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company quality system procedures during warehouse operations.
• Pick orders accurately in the correct priority order.
• Confirm picking activities in the system and correctly label parts.
• Perform pick and pack transactions in the system accurately.
• Ensure printed documents are properly sorted before packing and box closure.
• Return stock to the correct locations after picking or packing.
• Adhere to packing regulations, especially for dangerous goods.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment consistently.
• Strive to enhance work quality wherever possible.
• Report any process errors or system issues promptly to the Manager or Team Leader.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support Warehouse Management with reasonable ad hoc requests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within warehouse operations.
• Assist in receiving and other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Conduct stock checks upon request.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Nitec certification preferred; 2 years of relevant experience advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Forklift license or experience operating forklifts or reach trucks is preferred.
• Aviation sector knowledge and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a plus.
• Open to working various shifts.
• Service oriented, able to multitask, detail-focused, and team cooperative.
• Basic IT literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize workload and take initiative independently.
• Confident in voicing constructive feedback and maintaining a sense of urgency.
• Consistent performance in productivity and work quality.
• Capable of working effectively within a large team setting.
