Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Associate Director to join our well-regarded Tax team in Christchurch. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned corporate tax specialist aspiring to progress their career within a leading organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert tax advice to a diverse clientele including large New Zealand businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and fast-growing companies.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, providing strategic guidance to help them navigate tax risks and achieve business objectives.
- Support the development of team members through coaching and mentorship.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Leverage modern tools and technology to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in professional services or corporate tax environments.
- Holding a professional qualification in accounting and/or law.
- Profound knowledge of end-to-end tax processes and comprehensive understanding of the New Zealand tax system.
- Excellent teamwork, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Energetic, proactive, with a strong results focus and client-oriented mindset.
