Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex and voluminous datasets to detect trends and patterns that inform strategic business directions.

• Extract valuable insights from healthcare claims data, including medical and pharmacy claims information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a quantitatively rigorous field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytics disciplines.
• Proven expertise working with healthcare claims data encompassing medical and pharmacy components.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and managing extensive datasets.
• Experience in using visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong grasp of data modeling, statistical analysis, and visualization principles.
• Competent in programming languages like Python or R for data processing and analytical automation.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Preferred knowledge of healthcare data standards, such as diagnosis, procedure codes, and claims formats.
• Excellent communication skills with the aptitude to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Skilled in data storytelling, enabling the translation of data insights into pragmatic business recommendations.
• Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics tools and modern analytical technologies is advantageous.
• Master’s degree or advanced certifications in quantitative areas is a plus.
