SAP CPI Consultant / Developer

Role Overview

Magellanic Cloud is hiring an SAP CPI Consultant / Developer in Bengaluru to design, build, deploy, and support integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role is centered on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite and hands-on delivery of enterprise integrations.

What You Will Do

• Create, configure, and release integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
• Connect SAP systems with external applications through REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, JMS, HTTP, and SuccessFactors adapters.
• Set up message routing, mappings, data transformations, and exception handling logic.
• Write Groovy scripts, XSLT mappings, and other custom integration code when required.
• Track, analyze, and fix interface problems using monitoring tools and trace logs.
• Implement secure integrations with SSL, OAuth, Basic Authentication, SAML, and PGP encryption.
• Use SAP Cloud Connector and BTP Cockpit for connectivity setup and platform administration.
• Carry out unit testing, system integration testing, deployments, and production support.
• Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow SAP integration best practices.

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of experience working with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Practical experience with integration adapters such as REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, JMS, and HTTP.
• Good hands-on exposure to XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and message mapping.
• Comfortable with Groovy scripting.
• Experience using SAP Cloud Connector and BTP Cockpit.
• Understanding of integration design patterns, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
• Knowledge of API integrations and SAP security practices.
• Preferred exposure to SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, or other SAP cloud products.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.

Location: Bengaluru, India.

Education: Any Graduate.

For this opening, the listed compensation is INR 7,00,000 to INR 15,00,000 per year.

Good to Have

• Exposure to SAP PI/PO to CPI migration projects.
• Familiarity with API Management, Event Mesh, or Open Connectors.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• SAP BTP or SAP CPI certification.
