About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation in Riyadh as a Risk Manager, where you will embrace an innovative culture focused on agility, growth, and empowerment. You will contribute to managing risks effectively in major infrastructure projects, especially in airport airfield development and associated disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework aligned with project requirements and global best practices.
- Create risk management methodologies, reporting tools, and procedures covering all project phases.
- Develop and supervise risk registers, breakdown structures, categorization, and risk ownership models.
- Ensure risk processes operate smoothly from engineering to operations stages.
- Foster a proactive risk culture among all project teams including contractors and consultants.
- Lead risk identification through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Assess risks related to cost, scheduling, quality, safety, design, construction, interfaces, procurement, and operations.
- Analyze risk probability, impact, and trends to guide decision-making.
- Develop and track risk mitigation, contingencies, and response plans.
- Manage specific risks tied to airport infrastructures such as runways, taxiways, and utilities, considering aviation safety and phased construction impacts.
- Coordinate with planning and commercial teams to evaluate schedule and cost risk drivers and forecasts.
- Prepare risk communications including reports, heat maps, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership and clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including HSE, to integrate safety and environmental risks.
- Support contract risk reviews and ensure compliance with contractual and industry standards.
- Promote continuous risk management improvements and knowledge sharing across the project.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of risk management experience on large infrastructure, airport, transportation, EPC or construction projects.
- Proven capability working across multiple project phases and complex multidisciplinary programs.
- Experience engaging with international stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Familiarity with risk management tools and methodologies aligned with major capital projects.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and qualitative/quantitative assessment techniques.
- Experience with Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, Active Risk Manager, or similar software.
- Good understanding of project controls, planning, cost, contracts, and change management.
- Professional certifications such as PMI-RMP, Certified Risk Manager, or APM Risk Certificate.
- Knowledge of airport operational requirements, ICAO regulations, and international contract frameworks like FIDIC or EPC.
- Strong communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
