Role Overview

The Purchasing & Operations Coordinator position within our Product Planning team is vital to ensuring that appropriate products are available timely across Oceania. This role merges responsibilities in procurement, demand forecasting, and inventory management to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal teams and global suppliers to maintain stock levels, reduce supply disruptions, and drive ongoing improvements in inventory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal inventory levels across designated product lines.
• Forecast demand accurately and initiate purchase orders aligned with sales patterns and stock objectives.
• Ensure accuracy of product data within ERP systems.
• Minimize backorders and deliver precise supply schedules to stakeholders.
• Generate inventory and performance reports to inform business decisions.
• Establish strong working relations with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in procurement and inventory operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Background in inventory management, purchasing, or supply planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data and support decision-making.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities and experience working with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic workplace.
• Familiarity with Microsoft D365, Power BI, or Salesforce is advantageous.
