About the Role
As an integral member of the People & Culture Leadership Team at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for the organisation’s people practices. Your expertise will influence organisational priorities by guiding strategic planning, governance, organisational change, workforce initiatives, executive-level reporting, and performance outcomes.
Primary Duties
- Collaborate closely with the Director of People & Culture to implement the organisation’s people strategy.
- Provide insightful and strategic advice to senior executives and governance bodies.
- Lead and manage complex projects that enhance organisational performance and drive transformation.
- Oversee strategic planning activities, reporting mechanisms, governance, and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Enhance leadership capabilities, foster positive organisational culture, and improve employee experiences.
- Promote continuous innovation and improvement in People & Culture methodologies and practices.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strategic visionary and trusted advisor with proven leadership skills thriving in intricate organisational settings. You will bring considerable senior-level expertise in People & Culture, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Strategy, or related disciplines.
- Substantial experience in formulating and implementing organisational or people strategies.
- Proficiency in producing detailed Board and Executive-level advice and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex initiatives within large or multifaceted organisations.
- Strong influence skills to guide senior leaders towards desired organisational results.
