Part Time Home Health Aid

Overview

Westgrove is seeking a dependable and caring Personal Care Assistant to support individuals one-on-one in their homes and local community. This role is focused on encouraging daily growth, assisting with skill-building activities, and helping recipients work toward personal goals in and outside the home.

The organization serves mental health recipients across Southeast Michigan and has both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

What you will do

• Provide one-on-one support to recipients in their homes.
• Encourage participation in skill-building and goal-oriented activities.
• Accompany individuals into the community to support personal development outside the home.
• Work closely with care plans while offering consistent, compassionate assistance.

Requirements

• Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities are needed.
• You should be able to work independently and follow care instructions.
• Comfort with supporting people with different abilities is important.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments is required.
• Must be able to pass background checks and other required screenings.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
