About the Role
The Tamheer Operations Trainee will play a key role in assisting the Operations team with day-to-day activities to ensure seamless business functions. This position offers a practical learning experience as part of the Tamheer program, focusing on enhancing skills in operations and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operational tasks to maintain smooth workflow.
- Oversee store and warehouse activities, flagging any concerns to Operations management.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Warehouse, Logistics, and other units to facilitate daily operations.
- Compile and update operational reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Keep accurate records, documentation, and track key performance indicators.
- Follow up on outstanding operational jobs and escalate issues as necessary.
- Bridge communication between field teams and management.
- Assist with executing operational procedures and enhancing existing processes.
- Organize and maintain operational documents and filing systems.
- Manage scheduling, manpower coordination, and administrative support.
- Engage in operational projects and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
- Other tasks assigned by the Operations Supervisor or Manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Eligibility for the Tamheer Program under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with minimal professional experience.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Capacity to juggle various responsibilities effectively within a team setting.
- High attention to detail and a proactive work approach.
