Operations Planning & Project Executive - Returns & Warehouse Automation

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Planning & Project Executive to lead the transformation and enhancement of our returns and refunds warehouse processes, alongside spearheading a key warehouse automation initiative. This dynamic role involves a hands-on approach combining analytical skills, strategic planning, and collaboration across departments to significantly improve operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign and optimize returns & refunds workflows to manage large volumes efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively.
• Lead the launch and early stages of a warehouse automation project including opportunity analysis, vendor assessment, proof-of-concept development, and preparation for implementation.
• Champion projects aimed at operational enhancements, capacity growth, and boosting productivity with measurable impact.
• Utilize operational data to identify challenges, evaluate improvement possibilities, and inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and refine KPIs and incentive programs that align team performance with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, logistics, technology, and regional teams to ensure initiatives are well coordinated and successfully carried out.
• Manage projects end-to-end from conception through delivery ensuring timeline adherence and scope alignment.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in project management, operations, or strategy roles; experience in supply chain, logistics, or automation is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to recognize patterns and translate insights into practical action plans.
• Effective communication skills, capable of presenting recommendations convincingly to both operational teams and senior leadership.
• Thrives in fast-changing environments and can manage shifting priorities adeptly.
