About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Assistant who is a UAE National to join our marine operations team based in Abu Dhabi. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating logistics, supporting compliance with maritime safety regulations, and ensuring effective communication to guarantee smooth and dependable operations within the marine sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support daily maritime operations ensuring all activities align with operational requirements to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and manage operational documentation accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant maritime regulations and reporting standards.
- Maintain regulatory compliance through continual monitoring of licenses, NOCs, vessel insurance, and other safety-related certifications, keeping detailed records for audits and inspections.
- Serve as an intermediary facilitating clear communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders to improve operational workflows.
- Provide administrative assistance including logistical coordination and organization of operational materials to boost productivity and streamline processes.
- Manage data securely by overseeing documentation, tracking performance indicators, and maintaining critical databases related to marine operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent.
- Between two to three years of experience in maritime operations or a similar administrative operational role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic familiarity with operational or administrative procedures such as scheduling, record-keeping, and coordination tasks.
