Role Overview
This position focuses on maintaining and repairing kitchen and laundry equipment in a hotel setting to keep operations running smoothly and reduce equipment downtime.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine preventive care and corrective repairs on appliances such as ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and steam presses.
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults and resolve them quickly to limit interruptions to hotel operations.
- Make sure all repair work follows safety rules and the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
- Keep clear logs of maintenance work completed and track spare-parts stock accurately.
- Work closely with the Engineering team for planned servicing and urgent breakdowns.
- React promptly to operational or guest-related requests involving kitchen and laundry machinery.
- Support energy-efficiency efforts and help improve equipment performance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a comparable role within a five-star hotel environment.
- Good troubleshooting ability and a solid understanding of safety practices.
- English communication skills.
- Ability to stay effective and composed in a busy, high-pressure setting.
