Janitor - Full Time and Part Time Positions

Job Overview and Schedule

We have openings for both full-time and part-time janitorial employees. The working hours are Monday through Friday, with shifts either from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm or from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Additional schedule details will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of buildings through heavy cleaning activities.
• Collect and dispose of trash following established procedures and infection control standards.
• Dust and damp mop floors according to approved guidelines.
• Relocate equipment and furniture as needed for effective cleaning and return items to their proper places.
• Sanitize assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, adhering to an eight-step cleaning method.
• Clean walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Identify and proactively address areas requiring cleaning without supervision.
• Complete all duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and county regulations.
• Perform floor maintenance including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing floors, and shampooing carpets.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining professionalism with customers and others.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is required.

Compensation

The pay range for these positions is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
