Job Details

• Positions available include part-time and full-time roles.
• Work occurs primarily during evening hours.
• The pay rate is $14 per hour with weekly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Keep all flooring clean through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Use chemical cleaners and powered tools properly to avoid damaging surfaces or objects.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting spaces, hallways, and building entrances.
• Empty trash receptacles and utilize compactors for specific waste materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors utilizing appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform spot cleaning and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction as needed.
• Restock paper goods and sanitary items.
• Adhere to a daily housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when required.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned based on client requirements or job scope.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months’ janitorial experience.
• Training will be provided on the job.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions clearly.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of commercial custodial practices and standards.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
