The firm has 61 employees across locations including London, Miami, Nassau, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, with a portfolio management team of 14 and 22 investment analysts.
Position Overview
This full-time, permanent buy-side credit research analyst role is based in Miami and requires onsite presence five days a week. The position reports to the Head of Credit Research located in Melbourne and collaborates with investment teams across Miami, London, Nassau, and Sydney. The firm does not accept recruiters, part-time, or contract applications for this role.
Primary Duties
- Participate actively in the investment process through comprehensive financial analysis and detailed reviews of industry environments, financial statements, and corporate disclosures.
- Offer independent evaluations of the fundamental creditworthiness of issuers, including corporates and government entities, to portfolio managers.
- Develop detailed research reports and financial models that culminate with investment recommendations on new and existing holdings.
- Engage directly with management teams of listed and unlisted companies via meetings and conference calls.
- Monitor ESG trends to identify risks and opportunities in the portfolio; collaborate on firm-wide ESG policies and governance standards.
- Contribute to the growth and brand development of the company through other assigned responsibilities.

Candidate Profile
- Approximately 3-5 years of analyst experience in credit asset management, investment banking, consulting, fund management, insurance asset management, or family office investment management.
- Strong team player with excellent time management abilities.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication to effectively articulate views.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and strong understanding of accounting principles.
- High interest in domestic and global financial markets with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and alongside teams, demonstrating a high work ethic and readiness to work beyond standard hours.
- Proven academic excellence and high levels of trustworthiness and dependability.
- Committed to enhancing governance, transparency, and sustainability in companies and financial markets.
- Industry certifications such as CFA or CA are advantageous.
- Must have full working authorization in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
