Role Description
As the Welcome Porter, you will personify Pullman’s progressive principles through your appearance, attitude, and enthusiasm. You will be the embodiment of hospitality in the lobby, greeting guests warmly and engagingly to showcase our commitment to progress. Your insights and diverse experiences will enhance the guest journey, making you a trusted source of knowledge about the brand, hotel, and city.
Your interactions will foster genuine connections, establishing you as a familiar and inspiring presence both to guests and fellow Heartists®.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests and visitors with genuine warmth, fostering a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Maintain visibility and accessibility within the lobby, ensuring guests can easily identify you for assistance.
- Manage the transfer, storage, and handling of guest luggage and belongings efficiently.
- Provide parking services by guiding and retrieving guest vehicles upon request.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a valid New Zealand Driver License is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts across 7 days, including weekends, public holidays, mornings, and evenings.
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional service to guests.
- Impeccable grooming standards and excellent communication skills.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
- Physical fitness required to safely lift weights up to 30 kg.
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
