Job Purpose
- Lead and oversee the comprehensive Data & Reporting function for Handover & Completion, creating a resilient digital environment that supports precise, real-time decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for data strategy, governance, analytics, visualization, and digital tools, ensuring cohesive integration of systems, platforms, and reporting mechanisms consistent with corporate digital standards.
Context and Challenges
- Manage a large-scale data environment exceeding 5 million records across various platforms.
- Maintain a unified authoritative source for all Handover & Completion data.
- Integrate multiple systems, databases, reporting tools, and contractor platforms.
- Drive digital modernization and automate previously manual workflows.
- Deliver high-level dashboards and reports under strict project deadlines.
- Implement data governance, standardization, and compliance across all stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the Data & Reporting Strategy for Handover & Completion, aligned with organizational digital transformation goals.
- Set and enforce data governance policies, standards, and quality assurance across all systems and participants.
- Supervise the creation and distribution of enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting materials.
- Guide the integration of completion databases, data repositories, and enterprise systems to enable effortless data access and flow.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of digital applications and automation solutions to optimize workflows.
- Provide senior management with strategic insights and advanced analytics to support project performance and risk assessment.
- Manage and improve data infrastructure, pipelines, and system interfaces among internal teams and contractors.
- Standardize data practices across EPC contractors to ensure consistency in reporting and handover documentation.
- Build and lead a skilled data and reporting team, nurture talent development, and plan for succession.
- Promote digital innovation, automation, and AI-driven improvements within Handover & Completion processes.
- Serve as the accountable lead for all reporting deliverables, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, cybersecurity measures, and data governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience covering engineering, procurement, and construction phases in large commissioning projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role with responsibility for managing service or vendor teams.
- Exposure to Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service providers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and completion processes.
- Proven track record in implementing data strategy and governance, enterprise reporting and analytics, and leading digital transformation efforts within project settings.
Technical Skills
- Advanced capabilities in Power BI including enterprise dashboard creation, governance, and deployment.
- Proficient with data modeling, ETL workflows, and data warehouse management.
- Strong command of SQL and handling large-scale databases.
- Experience with system completion databases or related platforms.
- Familiarity with Data Lake and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledgeable in Power Apps, low-code platforms, and automation technologies.
- Skilled in system integration and API-driven architectures.
Leadership and Business Acumen
- Strategic mindset with the ability to convert data insights into impactful executive presentations.
- Effective leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Expertise in data visualization, narrative storytelling, and performance reporting.
