About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation as a GIS Manager focused on supporting mobility initiatives in a major Saudi Arabian city. You will work collaboratively with mobility specialists, managing geospatial datasets that underpin transportation governance and strategic modeling efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong connections with principal stakeholders across various development districts.
- Gather, verify, and integrate digital and tabular data for consolidation into a centralized geodatabase, facilitating data model applications and reviews.
- Manage contributions to documentation and strategic transportation models ensuring data accuracy.
- Maintain a unified and authoritative data source for transportation modeling.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies by validating multiple data inputs.
- Supervise core datasets—including population, employment, land use, and transportation infrastructure—to guarantee consistency and convert formats for downstream governance products.
- Create detailed maps and visual representations for use in reports and presentations.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Over a decade of experience in geospatial data management related to planning or transport domains.
- Advanced skills with GIS software and data systems such as ArcGIS Pro, SQL Server, and JSON.
- Experienced in handling extensive datasets and automating associated workflows.
- Proficiency in designing data models and structures.
Preferred Attributes
- Strong technical writing and presentation abilities.
- Capability to collaborate within diverse cultural teams and swiftly build essential relationships.
- Prior involvement with large-scale infrastructure projects (giga projects) within Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
