Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations at our San Antonio location. This pivotal role involves overseeing tactical instructors, front desk staff, and sales teams to maintain a high-energy and safety-first training environment serving civilians, military members, and law enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational functions including staffing, scheduling, customer engagement, inventory management, and facility readiness.
• Provide direct support and coaching to department leads across instruction, front desk, and sales.
• Drive performance targets involving revenue growth, membership expansion, class utilization, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth floor operations during peak periods, coordinating training, tours, and sales activities.
• Administer CRM systems, scheduling tools, and operational reporting for workflow optimization.
• Uphold stringent safety protocols across all training environments.
• Address customer and operational challenges promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with ownership on marketing and strategic initiatives while independently managing daily execution.
• Foster a culture of accountability, high energy, and exceptional service.
• Act as a professional and positive representative of UDT.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position requiring 40 hours weekly.
• Work includes evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays with active floor presence during busiest times.
• Facility operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (subject to change).

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in leadership or management with experience in operations, fitness, hospitality, retail, training, or member-focused services.
• Demonstrated capability to lead teams, enforce high standards, and improve performance metrics.
• Proficiency with scheduling, CRM platforms, and operational reporting systems.
• Strong multitasking abilities and accountability for managing multiple departments.
• Excellent verbal communication and authoritative leadership presence.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure combined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Passion for safety, training, and self-defense; firearms or tactical background is a significant advantage, along with relevant certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Preferred educational background includes a degree in business, finance, or related fields.
