Position Overview
The Controller, reporting directly to the VP of Finance, is responsible for managing financial operations including billing, invoicing, financial reporting, cash flow control, and compliance. This role supports strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial governance within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close processes and prepare financial reports for executive leadership.
- Analyze financial performance, monitoring KPIs and business trends, recommending enhancements.
- Develop and sustain financial policies, internal controls, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage cash flow planning and optimize working capital.
- Oversee end-to-end billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable management, including dispute resolution and collections.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and provide financial insights.
- Promote a collaborative and accountable culture focused on continuous improvement and teamwork.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum of four years experience as a Financial Controller or related position.
- Advanced skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset with innovative thinking.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, able to meet multiple deadlines independently and within teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience within digital media or adtech sectors.
- Prior experience working in startup environments and rapid team growth settings.

- Base salary range between $100,000 and $125,000 annually, plus performance bonus and equity options.
