Job Overview
This full-time position is based on-site in Abu Dhabi at Abu Kaabi Kabab Restaurant and Grills. The Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following established health and safety protocols. Responsibilities entail operating dishwashing machines, hand-washing items when needed, organizing cleaned items for convenient access, and maintaining overall cleanliness in both dishwashing and kitchen zones. Additionally, the role involves supporting basic food preparation and assisting the cooking team as needed to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and guests.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficient dishwashing skills and comprehensive knowledge of kitchen sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Basic abilities in food preparation and cooking to aid kitchen personnel when necessary.
- Effective communication skills for coordinated teamwork and smooth kitchen workflow.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction by maintaining a neat and orderly setting that facilitates high-quality service.
- Physical capability to stand for long durations, lift moderate weights, and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Dependable and punctual work ethic with flexibility to cover shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
