Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the Dairy/Frozen section tidy, well-arranged, and customer-ready at all times.
• Perform product rotation diligently and check for expired goods to ensure high freshness and quality.
• Accurately price and label merchandise following company procedures for orders, clearances, markups, markdowns, and signage.
• Comply with cold chain protocols and food safety measures, including conducting temperature checks, calibrating thermometers, handling foods properly, and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions.
• Support merchandising initiatives and maintain promotional displays in the department.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free working environment by promptly removing debris, spills, and following health and safety policies.
• Be flexible in working various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store needs.

Challenges in This Role

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently within a fast-paced setting, including planning for overnight shifts to remain alert.
• Handle extensive restocking and zoning demands with accuracy and timeliness.
• Physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting products or equipment up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive tasks attentively to maintain store standards consistently.
