About the Role
Join RBC's Client Success Team (CST) as an Associate, playing a crucial role in managing cross-product client onboarding within the APAC region. This position involves collaborating with multiple regional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding processes that span RBC locations globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate as a core member of the global Client Success Team focused on onboarding clients from APAC across all RBC sites.
- Coordinate client lifecycle projects involving KYC, AML, Legal, Operations, IT, Credit, Documentation, and Risk to create an efficient and positive client and Sales experience.
- Provide regular updates and reports on onboarding progress to business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactively escalating issues when necessary.
- Identify and address operational risks and control weaknesses to mitigate potential loss events within the business.
- Maintain and update desktop procedures in line with evolving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, including Global client onboarding and KYC/AML protocols.
- Support additional business functions as directed, such as strategic or regulatory projects, policy documentation, and reporting.
- Seek continuous opportunities to improve and automate onboarding processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Utilize strong knowledge of derivative products and maintain effective client communications to manage relationships successfully.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- A university degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- At least two years of experience in client onboarding or related operational roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets, including FX, Cash and Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Futures, Commodities, and Rates Derivatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (macros, lookups) and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience or willingness to engage in change projects and an adaptable mindset.
