Assistant Manager, Rig Operations (BH, MM, NFA, ALR)

Role Overview

This position requires managing operations for four offshore drilling and workover units, overseeing drilling contractors, and collaboratively resolving operational issues with subordinate Superintendents to meet drilling and intervention goals safely and effectively.

Experience and Expertise Required

• At least 15 years of experience in offshore drilling and workover operations.
• Minimum 5 years served as an Offshore Drilling Supervisor and another 5 years as an Offshore Drilling Superintendent.
• Proven experience in overseeing offshore drilling, workover, and intervention activities including contractor supervision and operational performance management.
• Hands-on experience in tendering processes and contract management.
• Exceptional leadership and personnel management abilities, with sensitivity towards diverse cultures and a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated high energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude for outstanding performance in drilling and workover operations.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent field.
• Certification from the International Well Control Forum (IWCF).
