Role Summary
The position of Assistant Manager - Technology is situated at AISATS Noida Cargo Terminal Private Limited (ANCTPL), a fully-owned subsidiary. This role involves managing technological infrastructure and support to enhance operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain servers, network documentation, and standard operating procedures to sustain peak network performance and availability.
- Administer installation and upkeep of diverse software and hardware components within a networked environment.
- Conduct routine backups of server and database data, plan efficient data storage strategies, and manage network and server tools while utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques for operating system issues.
- Resolve challenges related to server administration, application conflicts, and system bugs.
- Provide end-user support by addressing queries related to information systems and software, including managing security domains, user profiles, and network resource directories.
- Evaluate IT requirements covering software, hardware, and peripherals to meet organizational needs.
- Oversee process performance, identify areas for enhancement, and implement measures to improve client satisfaction.
- Analyze business demands, lead initiatives to establish IT infrastructure, both hardware and software.
- Perform periodic assessments and acceptance tests to verify equipment performance standards.
- Deliver comprehensive IT support including hardware and software troubleshooting and repairs.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic plans for adopting new technologies that optimize organizational operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security protocols in daily operations, making essential operational decisions regarding safety and security during duty hours.
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred academic qualification is a bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant university degree.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.
- High energy and proactive approach towards work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing requirements.
