Role Overview

The AI/ML Engineer will be instrumental in designing, building, and refining machine learning models that enhance our mobile applications. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and designers, you will develop data-driven intelligent features, helping to maintain our technological edge in the mobile app arena. This is a full-time position located onsite at our Lisbon office, with relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Create, train, and fine-tune machine learning models tailored to mobile app features.
• Investigate and apply cutting-edge AI methods to boost user engagement and optimize app functionality.
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to embed AI solutions into applications.
• Design and oversee scalable ML pipelines to ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of models.
• Examine extensive datasets to generate actionable insights supporting data-informed decisions.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in AI and integrate them into development workflows.
• Ensure AI models are optimized for mobile platforms, focusing on high efficiency and minimal latency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a preference for mobile application projects.
• Strong proficiency in Python and popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Expertise in deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proven ability in deploying and managing ML models in production environments.
• Comfortable collaborating effectively within a remote team setting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a drive for innovation.

Compensation

The salary range offered for this role is €60,000 to €76,000 per annum.
