Role Overview

This position is based at our Artificial Breeding Depot located in Newstead, Hamilton, operating under the supervision of the AB Despatch Lead. The primary workplace is the Packing Room where the core duty is the preparation and packing of frozen semen into liquid nitrogen storage for distribution to the field for insemination.

This is a full-time seasonal role tailored to cover the peak period from July through November, with the possibility of extension. During peak season, work hours will be scheduled on a roster system.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely, accurately, and efficiently packing and dispatching semen straws while strictly adhering to LIC’s policies and procedures.
• Providing daily support to AB Despatch Lead as well as AB Warehousing and Despatch activities.
• Complying with LIC's quarantine protocols and Health & Safety policies.
