Role Overview

Based at the Herd Test depot in Islington, Christchurch, Sample Processing Operators play a vital role in processing herd test milk samples using automated machinery. The accuracy and speed of processing directly influence the reliability of test results provided to clients, making precision critical.

This is a seasonal role extending until May 2027. During peak periods from September to mid-May, employees must be available for alternating two-week shifts of days and evenings, including mandatory Saturday and evening work.
