About the Role
This senior executive position is designed to lead the transformation of a large creative organization into a cutting-edge, AI-empowered content engine. The Vice President will guide over 50 multidisciplinary professionals, overseeing enterprise-wide creative strategy, systems, and operational excellence to drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive multi-year creative and operational strategy aligning with growth objectives and partner success.
- Modernize the creative division into an AI-enabled content hub with scalable governance, workflows, and performance metrics.
- Create modular content approaches enabling personalization for a broad set of partners while enhancing speed, efficiency, and consistency.
- Standardize brand messaging, editorial guidelines, and creative standards across diverse channels and formats.
- Lead the adoption of AI-driven tools for creative production, including copywriting, design, video, and workflow optimization.
- Direct content strategy along the customer journey to support acquisition, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Manage creative operations such as intake, prioritization, resource allocation, project execution, and capacity planning.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs tracking throughput, quality, cycle times, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing, SEO, paid media, lifecycle, and field teams to ensure content performance optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a creative team including operations leaders, project managers, designers, writers, and content strategists.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors including agencies, freelancers, and production partners.
- Provide executive reporting on creative impact, investments, team performance, and strategic initiatives.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum 15 years in integrated marketing, brand strategy, creative leadership or related areas.
- At least 7 years of executive leadership experience overseeing large creative teams (40–60+ members).
- Proven expertise in organizational transformation via operating model redesign, workflow modernization, and technology adoption.
- Strong background in brand strategy, messaging frameworks, integrated content, and multichannel marketing.
- Experience building scalable content ecosystems that support personalization and operational efficiency.
- Ability to tie creative initiatives to measurable outcomes such as acquisition growth, engagement, and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated success managing sizable budgets and making data-driven resource decisions.
- Familiarity with enterprise project management tools (e.g., Workfront) and performance-driven marketing environments.
- Excellent executive communication, influencing capabilities, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, inspire teams, and drive cultural and organizational change.
- Preferred experience in education technology, higher education, multi-brand, or partner-based business models.
- Knowledge of AI-powered creative tools, content management, digital asset management platforms, and emerging marketing technologies.
