Programme Overview

Successful candidates will participate in a comprehensive 13-month training schedule combining classroom learning and hands-on experience, tailored based on individual academic backgrounds. This training aims to prepare participants to qualify as Aircraft Technicians, responsible for maintenance, servicing, and overhaul of aircraft.

Training Phases

Phase 1 (First 6 months): Theoretical instruction covering selected aircraft-related subjects at a designated college in Malaysia.
Phase 2 (From month 7 onwards): Practical on-the-job training hosted at the SIA Engineering Company's Base Maintenance or Line Maintenance divisions.

Employment Commitment

Trainees must commit to serving a 2.5-year employment bond with the company upon successful completion of training.
Failure to complete the training successfully or satisfy the minimum employment duration requires reimbursement of training expenses, potentially up to SGD 35,000 as liquidated damages.

Candidate Requirements

Must hold an Engineering Diploma or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Proficient in English with strong communication capabilities.
Prepared to relocate to Singapore for employment.
Demonstrates a keen interest in technical roles within the aviation sector.
Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Ability to distinguish colors is essential for job functions.
