Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager based in the United Arab Emirates for a remote, full-time role partnering with a technology company. The position involves leading complex and impactful technology projects spanning multiple teams, product areas, and geographic regions. The individual will serve as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring strategic projects are completed effectively with measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire lifecycle of complex, multi-department projects ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant delivery.
Steer strategic initiatives including new market launches, platform improvements, product rollouts, certifications, and regulatory programs.
Coordinate milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across various teams to guarantee effective execution.
Collaborate with senior leadership and product teams to transform strategic goals into detailed project plans and actionable roadmaps.
Support prioritization by evaluating feasibility, business impact, dependencies, and potential risks.
Lead teams from Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Commercial, and Business Intelligence departments, promoting collaboration and resolving conflicts.
Mentor junior and mid-level project managers, help enhance project management standards, methodologies, and workflows.
Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies through effective communication and expectation management.
Establish and maintain frameworks for managing project risks, conduct risk workshops, design mitigation and contingency plans, and adhere to governance policies.
Oversee change control processes, make informed project decisions, and escalate critical risks and issues appropriately.
Provide technical oversight by comprehending software development lifecycles, system integrations, architecture, and frontend/backend technologies.
Clarify technical requirements, remove blockers, and ensure milestones align with overall project objectives.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executives and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams on regulatory initiatives, security audits, certifications, and ISO-related projects.
Ensure all documentation, procedures, and project activities satisfy governance and audit standards.
Produce executive-level reports covering progress metrics, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
Maintain accurate documentation, workflows, and reporting using project management tools and systems.
Prepare and deliver structured presentations and updates to senior management and steering committees.
Identify and promote usage of technology and AI-driven tools to enhance project delivery, collaboration, and decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Certification in project management such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in project management, with at least 3 years collaborating with software development or technical delivery teams.
2 to 3 years of experience working in iGaming or similarly regulated digital industries.
Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to select appropriate approaches per project specifics.
Advanced proficiency in Jira and comparable project management platforms including reporting and workflow customization.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, large-scale projects involving numerous stakeholders.
Strong leadership aptitude including influencing, negotiation, and decision-making at technical and executive levels.
In-depth knowledge of project risk management, governance, change control, and issue resolution.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent proficiency in technical documentation, reporting, and communication, able to facilitate discussions with engineering teams.
Comprehensive understanding of software development processes, system integrations, and modern frontend/backend technologies.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience with regulatory compliance, market-entry projects, or security frameworks like ISO 27001 is highly advantageous.
A proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset capable of managing ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and driving projects to success.
