Company overview

Wise is a worldwide technology business focused on making international money movement and money management simpler, faster, and cheaper. Its mission is to help individuals and businesses send, spend, receive, and manage money across borders with less friction and lower cost.

As part of the team, you will contribute to building a new global network for money that serves people everywhere.

Role summary

Wise is hiring a Talent Development Specialist to join the People team in Singapore. This role suits someone who enjoys helping others grow, building learning experiences, and creating strong engagement around development initiatives.

The position plays an important part in building a culture of ongoing learning and professional development. Along with running company onboarding, you will support additional learning programs, shape and deliver targeted learning plans, and help drive participation in global learning efforts. You will also work closely with regional teams to make sure training is delivered smoothly and to keep a unified global learning schedule up to date.

The role includes learning needs analysis and turning data into practical insights for stakeholders. You will also act as the local contact for core products, help maintain accurate records, and ensure content is refreshed regularly. Success in this role depends on strong facilitation, project coordination, data interpretation, and stakeholder management, as well as strategic thinking, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead company onboarding sessions and leadership programmes.
  • Facilitate offsite sessions locally when appropriate.
  • Own the learning strategy and execution for squad-level needs.
  • Carry out learning needs analysis to identify development priorities.
  • Share learning data and insights with stakeholders during monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to deliver training across supported locations.
  • Maintain the global learning calendar for assigned areas.
  • Increase participation in global learning initiatives within the supported scope.
  • Support coaching and mentoring requests across the region.
  • Guide and support new team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Act as the local point of contact for core products.
  • Maintain clean and accurate product data at a regional level.
  • Ensure learning content is updated regularly and programmes are improved as needed.

Qualifications and skills

The right candidate will bring strong group facilitation ability, practical project management experience, and familiarity with design thinking. A consulting-style approach to problem solving is important, especially one that uses data to build tailored solutions. You should be comfortable working with information, producing clear visual presentations, and handling multiple priorities while remaining accurate and organised.

You will also need to work effectively with different stakeholders, communicate clearly across teams, and support collaboration. The role calls for someone who understands people and organisational development trends, thinks strategically, and can connect day-to-day work to broader talent initiatives. You should be comfortable using data to improve workflows, measure return on investment, and support successful delivery. Adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail are key, as is the ability to contribute beyond your immediate responsibilities.

  • Flexible working is available, with trust placed in employees to manage their responsibilities well while balancing home life, school events, and personal commitments.
  • Employees receive paid annual leave, sick leave, parental leave, and other leave options.
  • After 4 years at Wise, employees are eligible for 6 weeks of paid sabbatical in addition to annual leave.
  • Team members can work from anywhere for up to 90 days each year, subject to terms and conditions.
