Role Overview
This contract position involves managing and optimizing logistics and supply chain operations remotely, with a flexible weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours and compensation ranging from $40 to $50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine logistics documents to verify authenticity, precision, and adherence to industry standards.
- Create and annotate example documents to showcase best practices in logistics and supply chain.
- Assess current supply chain processes to recommend efficient improvements based on practical expertise.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, emphasizing document architecture and process enhancement.
- Work closely with project teams to elucidate requirements and clarify complex logistics topics.
- Engage in quality assurance by validating the accuracy and relevance of supply chain datasets.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, especially with packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory records.
- Deep knowledge of logistics procedures, documentation standards, and international supply chain operations.
- Effective communication skills in English to simplify complicated technical concepts.
- Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and preparing supply chain documents.
- Strong analytical ability with a track record of spotting and suggesting workflow enhancements in logistics.
- A master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
