Overview

We are seeking skilled and personable Vehicle Mapping Operators to join our team. The role requires safe operation of mapping vehicles across public roads, commercial zones, and historical locations to collect accurate geographical data. You will work closely with the team, providing consistent and reliable driving to capture mapping data under various environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mapping vehicles adhering to traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and technical equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Handle camera and sensor devices, securing and operating them during vehicle operation.
• Follow designated navigation routes and detailed project guidelines accurately.
• Keep detailed logs of activities and maintain communication with the Operations team.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and other field-related tasks as needed.

Essential Requirements

• Possession of a valid driver's license with legal permission to drive in Italy.
• Minimum of two years' professional driving experience such as taxi, delivery, or ride-sharing services.
• A clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits.
• Proficiency with GPS technology, navigation tools, and Android devices.
• Capability to clear background checks and drug screenings where applicable.
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity during lengthy hours working outdoors in varied settings including urban, suburban, and rural areas.

Additional Information

The job occasionally requires repeated driving of specific areas due to adverse weather or lighting conditions to ensure data quality. The position demands comfort with extended time spent operating and navigating vehicles in diverse environments.
